Lacoste is a French fashion house created in 1933 by Rene Lacoste and Andre Geller.  They became famous in 1952 with their polos and tennis apparel highlighting the company’s green crocodile logo.    In the early 1980’s the brand became very popular and has continued in its popularity until today.  Many famous tennis players, like Andy Roddck have endorsed the line.  At around the same time, the line added shoes, sunglasses, watches and fragrances for both men and women.  Their first was launched in 1984 called Lacoste “Original” for Men.  In 2002, after many years of concentrating in the apparel industry Lacoste p[artnered with Procter & Gamble and together launched Lacoste Pour Homme and Pour femme, Style In Play Red, Essential, Elegance and Challenge for men as well as Touch of Pink, Inspiration, Dream of Pink and Eau de Lacoste femme for women.
